An advice concerning the Ghazzah situation:
Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
” فمن كان من المؤمنين بأرضٍ هو فيها مستضعَف أو في وقت هو فيه مستضعَف، فليعمل بآية الصبر والصّفح والعفو عمّن يؤذي اللهَ ورسولَه مِنَ الذين أوتوا الكتاب والمشركين،
وأما أهل القوَّةِ فإنما يعملون بآية قتال أئمّة الكفر الذين يطعنون في الدين، وبآية قتال الذين أوتوا الكتاب حتى يُعطُوا الجزية عن يد وهم صاغرون ” اهـ
الصّارم المسلول [ص (221)]
((And for those from amongst the Believers in a land where they are weak or in a time in which they have weakness, then they should work by the verses of Patience and absolution and forgiveness about those whom have warred against Allaah and His Messenger from those who have been given the Book and the polytheists.
As for the People of Strength, then they should work by the verses of fighting the Leaders of the Disbelief, those who insult the Religion and the verses of fighting those who have been given the Book until they pay the Jizya and they are lowly ))

I advise my brothers and sisters to make Du’aa to Allaah. For we should not underestimate the power of Du’aa.
Do not undermine the Power of Du’aa.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: دعاء مخ العبادة
((Du’aa is the essence of worship))
So do not belittle those who call to making Du’aa in times of such hardship. And be mindful of your speech and of our brothers and sisters in Ghazzah. Make Du’aa whilst Allaah has allowed you to do so. Rather than spend your time shouting on the streets, correct yourself and call upon Allaah for who was it that removed the harm which befell Ayoub عليه السلام? Who was it that freed Yunus عليه السلام from the belly of the whale due to Du’aa? Who was it that opened the way for the three men who were stuck in the cave due to their Du’aa?
In these days the callers and speakers who pose as scholars have started to speak with evil speech. They have begun to ascribe Hypocrisy to the rulers and to the Scholars for not picking up arms and fighting Israel. They have begun to ridicule the Muslims while claiming that they support the Muslims. These are people who call to the methodology of destruction.
They sit in their homes comfortably but their speech is transmitted all over the world. When asked why do they not fight, they say that they are not able to at the moment. When it is said to them “Then perhaps the rulers of Islaam think in the same way, they are not able to in the moment” they get angry and call the rulers hypocrites and traitors.
When it is said to them “But we are weak. Where is our military strength? The richest of our nations has one of the weakest armies in the world. ” they huff and puff and say “What about the Battle of Badr?” When it is said to them, “Is our Deen and Eemaan like that of the Sahaabah?” they become angry.
Allaah said:
وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ
((And prepare against them what you are able from strength))
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said as reported in Saheeh Muslim:
ألاَ إنَّ القوَّةَ الرَّميُ، ألاَ إنَّ القوَّةَ الرَّميُ
((Verily Strength is Military capability, Verily Strength is Military capability))
(رمي literally means firing or shooting)
The first thing they run to is fighting upon the battle field but these same people have not established the pillars of Islaam upon the Muslimeen. There are those who called to supporting the ones who curse Umm al Mu’mineen ‘Aa’ishah رضي الله عنها due to their fighting with Israel. This is the state of the Ummah and we expect victory from this?
And we do not speak about the innocent ones from amongst the people of Palestine, however I call upon my brothers and sisters to not support those who brought this harm upon our brothers and sisters. Truly Hamas has brought harm upon them by fighting fromwithin the residents of the Muslims. They have taken posts amongst the civilians and continue to fire rockets from the populous! After knowing the reaction and transgression and evil from Israel they continue to bring about harm upon our brothers and sisters.
There is a principle mentioned by the Fuqahaa:
((Prevention of Harm takes Precedence over bringing about good))
So tell me… is a Wal-Mart rocket attack going to override 100 tons of bombs? The Fat boy Atomic bomb that was dropped in Hiroshima resulted in a 15 Kiloton explosion. By todays standards that’s a really small bomb. So remind me again… a wal-mart rocket is military strength?
When there are massive groups of Muslims making Istighaatha with the graves and the dead then this is the Eemaan of the People who fought at Badr that you want in your fight against the Oppressors??
And to add to this, I ask the brothers and sisters to put aside their emotions and to think according to the Sunnah. Let the Sharee’ah rule your thoughts, not your emotions. We feel for our brothers and sisters in Ghazzah and we make Du’aa for them and we strive to help them and aid them. But we do not go into transgression in our assitance. It is not upon us to call for Jihaad. This is not upon the Layman Muslims. And I’m not speaking about the Palestinians I am speaking about the Muslims in General. Jihaad is not called to by the Layman.
We do not have to disobey the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم and label the ‘Ulemaa as Munaafiq (Hypocrites) whilst Allaah has said that those who fear Him the most are the Ulemaa!
We do not have to curse the rulers and call to “removing” and “replacing” them when the Sunnah shows clear prohibition of this!
Look at yourselves and your own actions and families. O brothers, you are the rulers in your own homes. And do you rule by the Rule of Allaah? If you cannot answer yes to that question in sincerity and honesty then withhold your tongue from speaking about the rulers when it is not your right. Do not be an aider to the Shaytaan. Be mindful of your tongues. Be mindful of your actions.
Do not forget Du’aa for our brothers and sisters all over the world.
So before commenting if you choose to do so, be mindful and do not accuse me of supporting Israel when I condemn their actions and oppose them and I ask Allaah to deal with them. Do not accuse me of hating or not feeling for our brothers and sisters in Palestine as I ask Allaah to rectify them and have mercy upon them and aid them in their struggles.
May Allaah rectify this Ummah and grant victory to the oppressed from Ahlus Sunnah.
